After a week of being home from my Montreal trip, I feel like I'm getting back in the swing.
The trip was fabulous... probably my favourite visit ever. Not that it wasn't without difficulties or emotional stuff, but overall it was really lovely and fun, and mostly very relaxed.
Big highlights:
Getting to connect in person with all the good peeps. Particularly joyous was getting to hang with their kidlets, and see the lovely families and homes my friends have created.
Eating some amazing home-made food including an impossibly good flourless chocolate cake, and a stunning chicken tagine. Holy cow, seriously thank you.
Discovering "Ice Cider" and maple whiskey.
B's band at Barfly on Monday rocked my house, and the Me Mom concert was totally worth the trip all on it's own.

Pictures & more stories to come, but for now, it's really nice to be home with my hubby & my cats.
